Student-Athletes Named to Spring 2017 Director's List

ABINGTON, Pa. – A total of 94 student-athletes from all 13 teams completed the spring 2017 semester with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
 
Penn State Abington prepares student-athletes to engage with the campus' academic and social environment through developing lifelong skills in leadership, sportsmanlike conduct, and athletic excellence. The focus of athletics is on the development of the whole person, placing student-athlete welfare as the highest priority. The Department of Athletics' mission is to promote and reinforce traditional values of honesty, integrity, commitment and hard work as the foundation of our athletics program.
 
The Division III experience provides for passionate participation in a competitive athletics environment, where student-athletes push themselves to excellence, build upon their academic success with new challenges and life skills, and are encouraged to pursue the full spectrum of opportunities available during their time in college.
