Box Score ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Penn State Abington men's basketball team dropped its season opener, 111-84, last night to host Eastern in the first round of the Nate Ware Classic.

Sophomore G Mike Colacci (Middlesex, N.J. / Middlesex) went off for 22 points, including 5/10 from beyond the 3-point arc. senior captain Will Alton (Pennington, N.J. Hopewell Valley) chipped in 14 points and added seven helpers, and freshman F Mike Marvin (Hatboro, Pa. / Hatboro-Horsham) added 12 points and had a team-high eight rebounds. Eastern's senior forward Alex Nelson poured in 33 points and collected 11 rebounds, both game highs.

Abington faces Eastern Nazarene in the consolation game this afternoon at 1 p.m. Eastern Nazarene dropped its first round game, 54-71, to Lehman College.
