Second-Half Surge Lifts Berks past Abington

Box Score The Penn State Abington women's basketball dropped a 59-51 decision to Penn State Berks Wednesday night. Withe loss, Abington is now 0-7 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference and 0-13 overall.

Despite several attempts at a comeback, Abington struggled to muster a lead throughout the game. Keisha Robinson contributed 25 total points against Abington for the the third win of the season for Berks.

Trish Watson finished the game with 17 points and seven rebounds, as teammate Kate Schalck posted 10 points, six rebounds. Gabrielle Benedict collected eight rebounds and netted six points.

The Lady Lions will now hit the road, as they go on a two-game road trip, starting with a 1 p.m. matchup at Wells College on Sunday.
