Penn State Abington men's basketball team recognized the three senior leaders,
Will Alton,
Josh Howard, and
Corey Curtis wrapped up their final collegiate career with a against the visiting Penn State Harrisburg.
The Nittany Lions of Abington dropped a 83-67 decision to Harrisburg this afternoon. The Abington loss concludes the 2011-12 season with 9-16 overall, 6-8 NEAC conference record, while the Nittany Lions of Harrisburg improves to 19-6, 12-2 in the conference and will move to NEAC Championship next weekend.
The game began with the senior combination of a 3-pointer by
Josh Howard off an assist from
Will Alton. The first half had an intense back-and-forth contest that had six lead changes throughout the half with Abington leading as many as 4 and Harrisburg leading as many as 7. The first stanza ended with Abington leading by 3 (35-32).
The second half began with Abington holding onto the lead until the 13:58 mark as the momentum belonged to Penn State Harrisburg. Abington never threatened after that, as seniors
