February 14, 2012 the Penn State Abington men's basketball team faced Lancaster Bible in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) matchup. The entertainment fans received at the close of the first half will be remembered for a long time.

Senior guard Josh Howard heaved a deep three from the opposite end of the court and watched the ball sail, finding nothing but net.
Howard's shot was nominated for ECAC video of the week February 13th-19th. Josh was up against two great videos. The first was a buzzer beater from a Division I matchup between Lehigh University and Bucknell University match up. Lehigh ended up winning thanks to McCollum's late heroics. The second video was highlight-reel tip dunk from Parker of Division I Mt. St Mary's University.

At 10 p.m., the race heated up as Mount Saint Mary's took the lead for a brief moment, and then finally, around 11 p.m., the Penn State community roared to life and overtook the lead for good.

Josh Howard's miraculous deep three helped Abington take the contest, receiving 58% of total entries with almost 1,400 votes.  Division I Mount Saint Mary's men's basketball came in second with 39% of the vote.

This week Howard was honored by the ECAC with a commemorative basketball.
