AURORA N.Y. - The Penn State Abington men's soccer team desperately needed a victory Sunday in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. Unfortunately, the Nittany Lions fell just short losing to Wells College 2-1 in overtime.
Just like Saturday's game against Keuka, Abington scored the first goal of the game Sunday.

Abington played well in the first half and took a 1-0 lead into the locker rooms after the first 45 minutes.
The Blue and White continued their strong play in the second half generating multiple scoring chances throughout.
Juan Martinez and
Alex Martins (Philadelphia, Pa.) both had chances in the 68
th and 69

Those chances would come back to haunt Abington as Wells would respond with some offense of their own in the 71
st minute. J. Tyler Adams received a cross pass from Nicholas Constantino, and buried the ball behind
Dan Saint-Pol (Perkasie, Pa.) to knot the game up at 1-1.
The game would head to overtime where the Express would take the 2-1 lead in the 90
