Box Score Behind Max Alton's 25 points, the Abington's men's basketball team was able to sweep the series against Bryn Athyn, defeating the Lions 77-68 on Saturday afternoon.

Still hunting for a seat in the NEAC playoffs, Abington improves to 7-10 overall and 6-4 in conference. The Bryn Athyn Lions drop to 5-13 and 5-6 in the NEAC.

One of the keys to the Nittany Lions' victory was their success behind the arch.  Abington was able to shoot 8-of-18 (44%) while holding Bryn Athyn to 6-of-27 (22%).

Alton led the Nittany Lions, as he hit 8-of-15 shots for 25 points. Junior guard, Devin Jones, contributed a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Alton opened the game with a three-point shot and the Nittany Lions never looked back, holding the lead for the entire game.

Abington travels to Lancaster to face their NEAC foe, Lancaster Bible College, Tuesday night at 8:00 PM.
