MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team (6-12, 1-8 NEAC) traveled to New Jersey for another weekend of NEAC competition. The Nittany Lions came away with their first win in the North Eastern Athletic Conference with a 3-1 win over Penn College (1-18, 0-8 NEAC), but fell in the nightcap to Penn State Berks (11-8, 6-2) 3-0.

Freshman
Maddi Richards (Warminster, Pa.) continued her strong season with 18 kills in both games.
Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the team in digs with 24, while
Danielle Dyjak (Abington, Pa.) recorded 26 assists for the day.

The Nittany Lions won the first match over the Wildcats 25-21, 23-25, 25-22 and 25-20, but were shut out in the second match by Berks 9-25, 13-25 and 18-25.

Abington will return to the court when they travel to non-conference opponent Immaculata Thursday October 8, at 7:00 p.m.
