BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Sophomore
Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded 31 kills as the women's volleyball team spilt it's tri match between College of Staten Island and Bryn Mawr, on Saturday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions opened with a 3-0 victory over the Dolphins of CSI, winning 25-15, 25-20, and 25-23. Next Abington dropped its match against Bryn Mawr 3-1, 14-25, 23-25, 26-24 and 14-25.
Amaro led the Nittany Lions in kills but also tallied 24 digs between both matches. Freshman
Maddi Richards (Warminster, Pa.) also notched 29 digs and freshman
Jessica Laychock (Philadelphia, Pa.) added an outstanding 40 assists between both contests.
The Nittany Lions wrap up their season with a record of 8-20.
