HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – An early 8-0 lead within the first ten minutes, helped Drew University topple the Abington women's lacrosse team 17-2, Wednesday morning in Hiltonhead.
The Rangers opened the contest with 11 unanswered goals and never looked back, as they net 13 goals in the first half making a comeback impossible for the Nittany Lions.

Chasidy McLaurin shined for the Nittany Lions with the teams only two goals in the game. Her first goal came in the final seconds of play off a converted free position attempt and her second late in the second half.
Abington was stifled by Drew's defense only firing five shots for the Nittany Lions compared to the Rangers 23.
The women finish their spring break trip against Albright College Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
