Marcy, N.Y.- The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team closed out their season Saturday afternoon with a 20-1 loss against the SUNY Poly Wildcats.
Abington managed just one goal in the game coming from
Chasidy McLaurin (Philadelphia, Pa.).
SUNY Poly was led by Nicole Dipiazza and Mariana Ames who each had five goals in the game. Alexandria Dodge and Krysta Beha each had three goals for the Wildcats.
SUNY Poly came out firing in the first half scoring 12 unanswered goals before McLaurin found the back of the net at the 3:01 mark to put Abington on the board.
SUNY Poly took a 14-1 lead into the break.
The Wildcats dominated the second half tallying six more goals while shutting out Abington. The Blue and White had just three shots total.
Abington finished the year 4-9 overall and 3-6 in the NEAC.
