22 Student-Athletes Graduated this Past Friday

Abington, Pa.- The Penn State Abington Department of Athletics takes pride in the work of its student-athletes in the classroom.

The 2015 Spring Graduation proved that statement to be true once again as 22 student-athletes graduated with their associates and bachelor degrees this past Friday.

"I am extremely proud of these young students for taking advantage of an opportunity to continue to play a sport they love, while also earning a degree from our world-class university," Director of Athletics Shawne McCoy said. "These student-athletes have put in a lot of time, effort and dedication to reach this goal. Everyone who has supported them throughout this endeavor is to be congratulated as well."

"Many of these student-athletes have not only excelled on the playing fields and in the classrooms, but also through their community outreach efforts," McCoy explained. "They are excellent role models and outstanding representatives of Penn State Abington and Nittany Lions everywhere."
