ABINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team faced off against cross-town rival Bryn Athyn and came away with 2-1 win on a late goal from
Dmitri Bourlako (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) Saturday afternoon.

Abington open's its conference play with a win and going 3-2 overall while Bryn Athyn fall to 4-3, 0-1 in the NEAC.

The Nittany Lions got off off to a fast start as
Richard Domico (
Langhorne, Pa.) notched his fourth goal of the season in the second minute of the game.
Andrew Costa (
Philadelphia, Pa.) split the defense with a pass to Domico as he slotted it home.

In the second half the Lions equalized on a long throw in that was headed to the top corner by Farid Amari.

Late in the second half Bourlako came off the bench and opened his account when he headed the game winning goal off a free kick from Domico.

The Nittany Lions will continue NEAC play when they travel to Gallaudet Saturday September 26, at 5:00 p.m.
