Nittany Lions Blank Cazenovia College, 2-0

CAZENOVIA, NY – Sophomore Noah Johnson (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored his first career goal in a 2-0 win for the Penn State Abington men's soccer team over Cazenovia College on Sunday afternoon.

Abington improves to 10-2 for the season and 9-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

The Nittany Lions controlled the first half but couldn't convert on their shots, as they fired nine before Johnson opened his account with a goal in the 45th minute.

Ty Morris (Flemington, NJ) held on to the lead in the second half as he stuffed four shots to hold the Wildcats scoreless. In the final minute of the game sophomore Pablo Zalduondo (Puerto Rico) sealed the match with his first goal of the season.

The Nittany Lions will have a week off and be back on the road when they travel to Wells College on October 22, at 2:00 p.m.
