WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – A late goal from junior Michelle Latronica (Philadelphia, Pa.) pushed the Penn State Abington women's soccer team to overtime, but Penn College earned the win on penalty kicks (5-4) to knock the Nittany Lions out of the NEAC playoffs.

Abington finish its season 9-6-1 and 8-4-1 in the conference.

The Wildcats took the leads in the 32^nd minute off a goal from Tiffany Brown and forced two saves from Samantha Friend (Philadelphia, Pa.) in the first half.

In the second half the Nittany Lions pressed with seven shots, but a goal in the 88^th minute from Latronica forced overtime.

Neither team could break the deadlock during overtime, and were forced into penalty kicks. Penn College converted all five kicks, but the Nittany Lions missed one and were eliminated from the playoffs.
