SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Sophomore Momolu Dorley (Trenton, NJ) led the Nittany Lions with 13 points but the Penn State Abington men's basketball team fell to Swarthmore College 69-52 Tuesday night.

Dorley was perfect from the floor going 4-4, and 1-1 from behind the arc. Defensively Nick Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions with six rebounds for the night.

The Nittany Lions fell behind early in the game being outscored 22-5 in the first ten minutes of play. The Garnet continued their dominate play leading 38-24 going into the break.

Swathmore continued the double digit lead into the second half, but Abington had a spark with 12 minutes in the second half when Dorley drained a three to cut the lead. Another three from Don Sloan (Boothwyn, Pa.) brought the Nittany Lions within striking distance down 48-38 with 11 minutes remaining.  Two free throws from Brown brought Abington to within five points, but the Garnet closed out the Nittany Lions on a 19-7 run.

Up Next the Nittany Lions will travel to the Hilton Scranton Invitational where they face Bard College on Friday evening with tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
