WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - In the final game of the season, the Penn State Abington men's basketball team traveled to Penn College and came away with a 76-68 win, Friday night.
The Nittany Lions finish fourth in the NEAC South Standings with a 6-19 mark overall and 6-12 record in the conference.
The first half saw both teams vying for the advantage with six lead changes in the first five minutes of play. The Nittany Lions would take the lead after Savage drove down the court to the board, and sunk his layup.
Penn College would answer every shot by the Nittany Lions, but Abington would go for an 11-2 run to take a 29-20 lead with 10 minutes in the half. A layup from Jones would give Abington a double-digit lead with five minutes remaining.
 The Wildcats came within five points toward the break, but Savage drained a three-ball to shift momentum at the half.
In the second half, both teams scored in spurts, with Penn College opening with an 11-4 run. Jones brought the lead back to double-digits again for the Nittany Lions with 13:28 left on the clock.
An 11-4 streak by Penn College brought them within three points. A clutch jump shot from Jackson changed momentum and spurred a 10-2 run that the Wildcats couldn't overcome. 
Seniors Devin Jones (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Yusef Savage (Philadelphia, Pa.) closed out their careers with with 26 and 19 points respectively. Dequan Jackson added another double-double performance with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the finale.
