WASHINGTON, DC – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team faced off against two NEAC North Division powers in Morrisville State and SUNY Poly, but couldn't come away with a win on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions were swept by Morrisville State 3-0, and fell to SUNY Poly 3-1 to drop to 9-14 overall and 3-4 in the conference.

Andia Anderson (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded 17 kills between both games which pushes her to 185 for the season, a career record for the middle blocker.
In the first match against the mustangs, the Nittany Lions fell in three sets with scores of 25-18, 25-21, and 25-9.
Against the Wildcats the Nittany Lions shocked SUNY Poly with a 25-21 win in the first set. The Wildcats responded dealing the Nittany Lions a heartbreaking 27-25 blow in the second set. With the match tied in the third set, the Wildcats stole a close 30-28 win to take a 2-1 advantage. The Wildcats earned the win in the fourth set with a 25-20 win.
Abington will return home to host their annual Dig Pink game against Penn State Berks on Thursday October 19, at 7:00 p.m.
