ABINGTON , Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team hosted reigning NEAC champion Penn State Berks but couldn't pull off the upset with a 7-0 loss on Tuesday afternoon.  Abington drops to 5-8 on the season and 3-3 in the NEAC.

Junior goalkeeper Samantha Friend faced a barrage of shots with Penn State Berks firing 32, and forcing the Philadelphia native to make 11 saves for the game.

Penn State Berks forward Caitlin Golden recorded a hat trick, on the way to a 7-0 shutout.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Nittany Lions will host their annual Pink game this Saturday when Penn College comes to town, with kick off at 12:00 p.m.
