COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. –The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team dropped their final road contest to Ursinus College, 3-0 on Friday night. Abington falls to 9-16 after the loss.

The Bears handled the Nittany Lions in the first set of the day with a 25-14 win aided by five service aces. In the second set the Nittany Lions jumped out to an early lead, but six consecutive points gave the Bears a comfortable lead. A late push by the Nittany Lions in the final momentums of the second set fell just short in the 25-19 loss. In the final set the Nittany Lions came out with momentum, but Ursinus shut down the Nittany Lions with a 9-0 run on its way to a 25-20 sweep.
Abington will have a week off before they host their final tri-match of the season against Wilson College and Rosemont College on Saturday October 28, at 10:00 a.m.
