ORLANDO, FL – Abington faced off against Albion College and Muskingum this afternoon, but couldn't come away with a win, on Thursday afternoon. Abington fell to Albion 8-5 in the first game and dropped an 18-8 decision to Muskingum in eight innings later that day.

Trey Guaglionona (Abington, Pa.) became the 10
th player in Penn State Abington history to reach 100 career hits, days after
Matt Meyers (Cheltenham, Pa.) hit that same mark. Junior catcher
Austin Mikula (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions going 4-of-8 for the day with a run and an RBI, while freshman
Stevie Stevenson (Westampton, NJ) recorded two runs and three RBI's for the day.

In game one Albion jumped out to a 6-0 lead with a big second inning, but Abington chipped away at the lead with two runs in the third. A Guaglionona single added another run to the Nittany Lions total in the fourth. With bases loaded,
Christopher Hartman (Philadelphia, Pa.) drew a walk to cut the lead to 6-4 later that inning. A sac fly from
Brett Guaglionona (Abington, Pa.) brought the game within one run in the fifth inning, but Albion put the game out of reach in the seventh with two more runs tacked on.

Muskingum opened the second game with 11 unanswered runs in the first three innings. Steveson kicked off a six run inning for the Nittany Lions with a three run double to left center field. Three straight singles cut the lead for Abington down, 11-6. Â The Fighting Muskies went on to out score the Nittany Lions 7-2 in the final innings.

The Nittany Lions will look to rebound when they face off against Iowa Wesleyan tomorrow morning.
