BALTIMORE, MD – The Penn State Abington finished its road trip at Notre Dame (MD) but fell to the Gators 3-0 on Friday night. The Gators stay undefeated at 4-0, while the Nittany Lions fall to 3-3 for the season.
 
Sophomore Cortney Schwar (Annandale, NJ) led the Nittany Lions with six kills, and junior Cori Watson (Harleysville, PA) stood out defensively with 16 digs to lead the team. Abington shot themselves in the foot offensively with 30 attack errors and gave up nine service aces to the Gators.
 
Abington struggled with the Gators, losing the first set 25-12, dropping the second set 25-9 and falling in the third set 25-15
 
The Nittany Lions will look to rebound when they kick off their home opener tomorrow at noon when they host Trinity (DC).
