ABINGTON, PA.- The Penn State Abington women's soccer team hosted the College of Saint Elizabeth on Friday afternoon, while celebrating senior day for their three seniors
Jessica Domansky (Jenkintown, PA),
Sarah Eisele (Langhorne, PA), and
Samantha Friend (Southampton, PA). The Nittany Lions defeated the Eagles 5-0.
Junior
Haley Miller (Hatfield, PA) struck first for the Nittany Lions in the 10th minute, taking an Abington 1-0 lead. Freshman
Taylor Perkowski (Collingswood, NJ) added to the lead at the 35th minute when she scored her ninth goal of the season, extending the lead to 2-0.
Senior
Sarah Eisele (Langhorne, PA) kicked off the second half for Abington with her third goal of the season. Later on, Eisele asisted
Taylor Perkowski's (Collingswood, NJ) second goal of the game, and tenth of the season, contributing to Abington's 4-0 lead. Freshman
Christina Kane (Hatboro, PA) put the game away in the 65th minute, giving Abington a comfortable 5-0 lead when she scored a goal off a pass from Senior Sam Friend.
Abington wraps up the season with an overall record of 5-9-3 and 3-7-1 in conference.
