ROANOKE, VA - The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team opened up its season on the road against the Roanoke Maroons, but couldn't come away with the win on Saturday afternoon.
The Maroons opened the game with the game's first 12 goals in 12 minutes of action. Abington got onto the board with six minutes left in the half after senior
Michaela Mast (Pottstown, Pa.) earned an unassisted goal.

Sarah Eisele (Langhorne, PA) tacked on a goal right out of the gate in the second half. Newcomer
Allison Felicetti (Willow Grove, PA) notched her first career goal with 11 minutes left in the second half, and later doubled her total with only three minutes remaining.
Abington will be back in action when they face another tough road contest when they travel to Elizabethtown on March 3, at 11:00 a.m.
