BRYN ATHYN, PA –On a cold Sunday afternoon, The Penn State Abington Women's Lacrosse teams were defeated 18-14 by Keuka College in the NEAC conference matchup. Despite a closely contested game, Keuka came out on top after a few late goals. The Nittany Lions record now stands at 0-2 in the conference and 0-7 overall.

Sophomore
Melissa Felicetti (Willow Grove, PA) led the Nittany Lions with six goals for the game. Senior
Michaela Mast (Pottstown, Pa.) recorded seven ground balls during the game.

Seven and a half minutes into the first half, freshman
Allison Felicetti (Willow Grove, PA) scored the first goal of the game for the Lions. Moments later, her sister Melissa notched back to back goals to give Abington a 3-2 lead. Later in the half, sophomore
Marleigh Nociti (Levittown, PA) ran down to the right side of the field and played a pefect pass to
Mason DeLarso (Flourtown, PA). The freshman was in right in front of the goal where she sliced her shot into the net. The goal gave Abington a 9-6 lead during the game, however Keuka came back and tied the game by the end of the half.

Early in the second half, Abington and Keuka continued to battle it out by trading goals throughout. The Wolves gained momentum late in the game however Abington never gave up. After a late goal from the free position shot by Melissa Felicetti, the game started to be very wide open. Abington aggressively pushed for more goals; however they were unable to rally for the win.
