WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Penn State Abington women's soccer team traveled to Gallaudet on Wednesday evening, earning their first conference win of the season.

Freshmen
Taylor Perkowski (Collingswood, NJ),
Mary Kate Smith (Oreland, PA), and
Allyson Holtz (Philadelphia, PA)(Collingswood, NJ) scored their first ever collegiate goals as Nittany Lions.

At the 28
th minute mark,
Taylor Perkowski struck the first goal of the game, assisted by teammate
Amber Linder. 5 minutes later, from 25 yards out, MaryKate Smith earned her first goal of the season unassisted.Â

In the second half,
Allyson Holtz put the Nittany Lions up 3-0, after a free kick from 20 yards out that found its way to the back of the net. Sophomore
Airii Massey (Fredricksburg, VA)closed out the game with her first goal of the season, putting Abington at a comfortable 4-0 lead.
The Nittany Lions outshot the Bison 22-7. Abington is now 1-2 in conference play and 2-3-1 overall.

Abington will be back in action on Saturday September 22
nd when they host their first home game of the season against Lancaster Bible. The match will begin at 1:00pm.
