ABINGTON, PA.- After a cancellation game due to weather on Tuesday, the Penn State Abington women's soccer team hosted Eastern University on Wednesday evening. The Eagles defeated the Nittany Lions 4-0.
Abington played aggressive defense in the first half to keep the score 0-0. However, Eastern was able to find a spark after halftime and score four goals to put out the Nittany Lions. Three of the four goals were scored in the last 10 minutes of the game. Eastern out shot Abington 17-2.
The Nittany Lions will be back in action this weekend on Saturday September 29th when they host Morrisville State College for a conference match beginning at 1pm.
