READING, PA- On Wednesday evening, the Penn State Abington women's basketball team won their fourth consecutive NEAC competition against Penn State Berks. 83-76. Abington has improved to 8-2 in conference and 11-7 overall. 
 
The Nittany Lions opened the first quarter by draining 51% of their field goals and scoring 38 of their total points from inside the paint. Freshman Lacy MacLachlin (Boyertown, PA) hit a crucial 3 pointer with 2 seconds left to give Abington the 23-17 lead heading into halftime. MachLachlin burried 3 from behind the arc tonight for the Nittany Lions, and scored 11 total points in tonight's team win.
 
Three other Nittany Lions scored double digits tonight including senior Shayna Rodriguez (Philadelphia, PA) with 23, junior Sydney Barrow (Philadelphia, PA) with 19, and junior Laquana Nagbe (Philadelphia, PA) who racked up 19 points and 10 rebounds, earning her a double-double in tonight's performance.
 
Abington will celebrate Senior Day this Saturday while hosting Keuka College for a 1pm tip-off.
