ABINGTON, P.A.- Yesterday afternoon, the Penn State Abington men's tennis team earned their first win of the spring season by defeating Delaware Valley University 5-4. The Nittany Lions improve to 3-2 on the season.

Juniors Michael Litz (Huntingdon Valley, PA)and Ilker Erkut (Philadelphia, PA) both posted a perfect 6-0, 6-0 shutout during singles competition at the top two flights. Newcomer Phillip Belotscrokvsky got his first win in a Nittany Lion uniform by defeating his opponent 6-0 and 6-1.
In doubles action, the Nittany Lions earned two victorious wins from Michael Litz and Youssef Omar (Westlake, OH) at the No. 1 position (8-1), and Phillip Antonoff (Bayside, NY) and Adam Moskal (Philadelphia, PA) who earned a 8-2 win at the No. 3 position.
Abington will look to take another home win against Rutgers Camden on Sunday March 24 at 12:00pm.
