WILKES-BARRE, P.A.- The Penn State Abington men's tennis team faced the Marywood University Pacers on Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions crushed the Pacers 9-0 and improve to 6-4 on the season.Â
The Nittany Lions swept in their top two doubles flights and won the third by default. At the No. 1 position, juniors
Michael Litz (Huntingdon Valley, PA) and
Ilker Erkut (Philadelphia, PA) breezed past their opponents 8-0. Teammates
Philip Antonoff (Bayside, NY) and
Philip Belotserkovsky (Warminster, PA) earned a 8-5 victory at the No.2 position for the Nittany Lions.Â
Abington continued their team success during singles actions, where the Nittany Lions earned wins at all top four flights.
Ilker Erkut at No.1, Phillip Antonoff No.2, Phil Belotserkovsky No.3, and
Adam Moskal No.4. Abington won singles No.5 and No.6 by default.Â
Up next the Nittany Lions will travel to Penn College on Sunday April 7 for a 11:00am conference match.Â
