CAZENOVIA, NY – The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team wrapped up their road trip at Cazenovia College, but couldn't come away with a win in a 23-13 loss on Saturday afternoon. After the loss the Nittany Lions fall to 2-12 for the season and 1-6 in the conference.

Senior Melissa Felicetti (Willow Grove, PA) led the way again for the Nittany Lions with five goals while Christina Kane (Hatboro, PA) recorded her first two career goals.

The Wildcats opened the game with a 6-0 run in the first five minutes of action. Sophomore Lauren O'Keeffe (Yardley, PA) broke their momentum with a goal at the 20:32 mark. Abington clawed their way back into the game thanks to three goals from Felicetti down 10-6 with only seven minutes in the half. Cazenovia responded by scoring the next four goals to close the half, up 14-6 at the break. Abington scored the first two goals of the second half only moments apart, but it wasn't enough to shift momentum in their favor.

Abington will return home to host Keuka College on Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
