WILLIAMSPORT, PA- The Penn State Abington women's tennis team posted its second 9-0 shutout of the season by defeating Penn College on Sunday morning. After the win the Nittany Lions improve to 4-7 for the seasosn and 2-0 in the NEAC.

The Nittany Lions scored easy wins in the first and second doubles match with 8-0 victories. Michelle Ly (Shirley, NY) and Deana Mariani (Seaford, NY) battled their opponents at the No.3 flight, to a 8-2 win to complete the sweep in doubles.

Six Nittany Lions went home with wins during singles play including Stephanie Jin (Bluebell, PA), Michelle Mirjani (Great Neck, NY), Marta Tymchenko (Trevose, PA),Isabella Blackwell (Philadelphia, PA), Michelle Ly, and Deana Mariani. 

Up next Abington will host NEAC opponent Lancaster Bible College on Saturday April 13th for a 12:00pm match.
