MIDDLETOWN, CT- The Penn State Abington women's tennis team season came to an end on Friday afternoon after they made history by being the first Penn State Abington team to compete in the NCAA Division III Tournament. In the first round, the Nittany Lions were defeated by the Brandeis University Judges 5-0.
Abington dropped three of their doubles matches early on with the score of 8-0, 8-0, and 8-1. The Nittany Lions also struggled during singles competitions where they could not score a win. The Judges will advance to the second round of the tournament and face the winner of #16 Skidmore and Brooklyn.
