CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – In their first ever meeting, the Penn State Abington women's soccer team picked up a 4-0 win on Tuesday evening over hosting Clark Summit University. After the win the Nittany Lions improve their record to 1-1 for the 2019 campaign.
Freshman
Elizabeth Tracey earned her first collegiate goal of the season, and finished the brace with another goal late in the second half.
Junior midfielder
Allison Barr kicked off the scoring early with her goal in the fourth minute, but the defenders held the margin to 1-0 before the break.
In the second half Tracey earned her first goal in the 49
th minute, and sophomore
Taylor Perkowski made it 3-0 with her goal in the 63
rd minute. Tracey closed the door on the Defenders with the final goal of the game in the 65
th minute.
Next the Nittany Lions continue their road trip at York College of New York on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
