ABINGTON, PA, - In the first games of United East Conference action the Penn State Abington women's volleyball team hosted Morrisville State and Lancaster Bible but couldn't pull off a win on Saturday afternoon. In game one the Nittany Lions were swept 3-0 by the defending champion Mustangs and in the second game of the day Abington fell to Lancaster Bible 3-0. After today the Nittany Lions fall to 9-12 overall and 0-2 in the United East.

Jenny McAnaney led the Nittany Lions with 21 kills and 19 digs between both games.
In the first game the defending champs the Nittany Lions fell 25-14, 25-15, and 25-10 and the Nittany Lions fell in three sets. Abington struggled in game two falling in three sets again 25-12, 25-17, and 25-14.
Abington will look to rebound when they travel to St. Mary's to face Penn Harrisburg and St. Mary's College of Maryland on Sunday October 17
th at 1:00 PM
