LATHAM, N.Y. - Penn State Abington saw 66 of its student-athletes named to the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Scholar-Athlete list. The announcement was made by the conference office on Thursday.
In order to be selected, a student-athlete must achieve a combined grade point average (GPA) of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team.
The baseball team led the way with 15 players named to the list. Women's soccer and women's lacrosse had nine and eight honorees respectively while the men's baskeball and men's soccer teams had seven apiece.Â
