Box Score MIDDLETOWN, PA – Penn State Harrisburg won its 10
th game in a row with an 89-44, United East Conference triumph over visiting Penn State Abington.
Harrisburg, the defending conference champions, improved to 13-1 overall and 6-0 in league play while Abington fell to 7-5 and 1-2.
Abington led 5-3 two minutes in before Harrisburg went on a 37-0 run over the next 15 minutes to build a 35-point advantage. Abington trimmed it to 30 at the break but Harrisburg increased it advantage in the second half, en route to the win.
Harrisburg, which shot 53.1 percent from the field, had 11 different players score in the game. All-American Donyae Baylor-Carroll and two others finished with a game-high 12 points. For Abington,
Kolby Miller scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench.
Brian Randolph III and
Jomiloju Odumosu had six and five points respectively.
Penn State Abington will play its third game in four days when its hosts United East for St. Mary's College of Maryland, on Monday.
