AURORA, NY – The Penn State Abington men's basketball team finished its 2021-22 season with an 84-60 loss to host and United East Conference foe Wells College.
The Nittany Lions ended with a 12-13 overall record, including a 6-10 mark in conference play.
Wells (17-8, 11-5) got off to a great start, going on a 12-3 run halfway through the first half to pull away. A three-point shot from Dylan Perry with 11 minutes in the first extended the Express lead to double digits and the lead never fell below 10 the rest of the way. They led by 20 at the break and outscored Penn State Abington by 14 in the second half.
Mohamed Mansary and
Alex Podolski tied for a team-high 10 points while
Darrion Harris and
Brian Randolph III had 10 each for the Nittany Lions. Mansaray and Randolph III were key forces on both sides of the ball, both having six rebounds and three steals each.
For Wells, it was led by Dylan Perry off the bench, who had 14 points, making four three-pointers in just 22 minutes. Guard Ransel Rodriguez was vital in running the Express' offense, dishing out 11 of the team's 25 assists.
