LANCASTER, PA – The Penn State Abington men's basketball team hit the road for United East Conference action on Saturday and dropped an 80-47 decision to Lancaster Bible College.
The loss dropped the Nittany Lions back to the .500 mark as they are 10-10 overall and 4-7 in league action. The Chargers upped their record to 14-6 overall, 10-1 and tied for first in the United East.
Lancaster Bible opened the game by scoring 27 of the first 32 points and never looked back. Jordan Shewbridge led the way as he sank five treys and finished with 23 points.
For Penn State Abington,
Alex Podolski notched 11 points and six rebounds while
Mohamed Mansaray returned to the lineup and poured in eight points.
Blake Henis grabbed seven rebounds and blocked three shots in the contest.
The Nittany Lions will host SUNY Morrisville for another United Easy game on Tuesday, February 8 (5 p.m.).
