How It Happened

* St. Mary's outshot Abington by a 10-1 margin in the opening half.  Despite the pressure set by the Seahawks on the offensive end, the score remained scoreless through the first 45 minutes.  Senior goalkeeper Matt Sheldon stopped all four shots put on-goal by the Seahawks.

* The score remained in a scoreless stalemate until the 68th minute when St. Mary's Abdoul Anounkou scored the game's first goal to give the Seahawks a 1-0 lead.  Franco Reyes assisted on the score.

* Abington had its best opportunity to tie the game in the 79th minute.  The Nittany Lions were able to attempt five corner kicks in less than two minutes.  Senior Mike Thomas and junior Arsene Bado each had shots on-goal during that span but the Seahawks' goalkeeper Matthew Kopsidas made stops on both attempts.

* The Seahawks doubled its lead in the 85th minute when Zack Glime scored an unassisted goal finding the lower-right of the net to make the score 2-0. It marked his eighth goal of the season.
