Big First Half Lifts Abington to 70-44 Victory at St. Mary’s

St. Mary's City, Md. – The Penn State Abington men's basketball team defeated St. Mary's College of Maryland, 70-44, in United East Conference (UEC) action on Friday night at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena.  The win marked the team's 15th of the season setting a new single season record for victories in the program's NCAA Division III era.

* Senior Brian Randolph III recorded his fourth double-double of the season as he totaled 18 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. His 13 boards also tied a season-high.
 
* Senior Alex Salata III led all scorers with 21 points (6-10 FG) to go along with five assists.
 
* Senior Alex Podolski, junior Jake Schalki and sophomore Lexuus Fasce each scored six points in the win.
 
* For St. Mary's, Daryn Alexander and Micah Henry each finished with a team-high eight points.

Tonight marked the sixth meeting between Abington and St. Mary's since the start of the 2018-19 season. The Nittany Lions are now 2-4 all-time versus the Seahawks.
