How It Happened

* Moravian's Donald Gibbs scored the game's lone goal in the 17^th minute as he attempted a bicycle kick shot that found the back of the net. The play was set up and started with a corner kick as Dave Steinbach and Hunter Shay assisted on the score.

* Abington nearly tied the game later in the second half in the 79^th minute when junior Roan Vadakan's shot beat the Moravian keeper high but hit off the crossbar.

* The Nittany Lions had opportunities in the final minutes as senior Mike Thomas fired off a shot in the 87^th minute and junior Eljo Agolli getting a shot off just as time expired.

Inside the Numbers

* Abington outshot the Greyhounds, 10-5, in the game and held a 7-3 edge on corner kicks. The Nittany Lions had five corner attempts in the second half.

* Senior goalkeeper Matt Sheldon made one save in the game.
