How It Happened

* Abington took advantage of two errors by the Anna Maria defense in the top half of the eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie and pull ahead of the AMCATS.  Freshman Donato Incollingo pushed across the eventual winning run after reaching on a fielding error as junior Alex Margot scored on the play.  Incollingo would later score when junior Josh McGee was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.

* Penn State Abington scored the game's first run in the opening inning when senior Montana Milward singled to left field to score senior Shane Fillman.  The AMCATS tied the game with a run in the bottom of the second but the Nittany Lions quickly regained the lead with a run in the third. Senior Sean Doherty scored on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning.  Doherty led the inning off reaching base by a AMCATS' fielding error.

* The Nittany Lions made it a 3-1 game in the sixth after Margot hit a sacrifice fly to right to score junior Jake Fallers.
