How It Happened

* Abington jumped on the board first when senior Madison McDowell notched her first goal of the season in the 14th minute to give the Nittany Lions a 1-0 early lead.  McDowell's goal came on her first of three shots in the half.

* With less than five minutes remaining in the opening half, Lycoming tied the game with a goal from Julia Bidelspach in the 42nd minute.  The Warriors followed with back-to-back shots on-goal in the next two minutes in attempt to take the lead before halftime.  However, senior goalkeeper Rachel Wilfrid stopped both as she finished the half with five saves for the Nittany Lions.

* Lycoming broke the 1-1 tie early in the second half when Ella Magee scored on a penalty kick attempt.  Her goal in the 53rd minute gave the Warriors a 2-1 advantage.

* The Warriors increased their lead to 3-1 in the 72nd minute after Aubrey Williamson connected on the first of her two goals in the final 20 minutes of the game.  Williamson also scored in the final seconds of the half.

* McDowell's first half goal marked her 23rd of her career as she is now tied for fifth all-time with former standout Kayla Nolan (2013-14).
