How It Happened

*  In a tight fourth set, the Nittany Lions held the largest lead of the set with a 20-17 advantage after a service ace by sophomore Fabiola Medina.  The Cougars cut the lead to 20-19 but a kill from sophomore Ellie Van Otten gave the Nittany Lions a two-point buffer at 21-19. Both teams exchanged points before Kean tied the set at 22-22 on back-to-back kills from Aubre Adams.  After both teams traded kills, junior Zayna Jamaladdin registered back-to-back bills to take the set, 25-23.

* In the fifth set, Abington jumped out to a 3-1 lead after taking advantage of a pair of attack errors by the Cougars. Kean followed with a 6-2 run to grab a 7-5 lead.  Another attack error by the Cougars made the score, 7-6, however Kean ripped off the final eight points of the set.  The Cougars took the set, 15-6, to seal the match.
