* The third set featured a number of runs by both teams with the Nittany Lions coming up with the final big surge late in the set.  Trailing 20-18, Abington scored five straight points to regain the lead at 23-20. Wilkes made it a one-point set at 23-22 but a kill by Jamaladdin gave the Nittany Lions match-point.  An attack error by Abington extended the set, however on the next rally Van Otten registered a kill to give the Nittany Lions the win at 25-23.
