How It Happened

* The Gators' lead didn't last long as the Nittany Lions answered with the game-tying goal in the 30th minute.  Sophomore Meghan McGinly finished off a corner kick opportunity with her fourth goal of the season.  Sophomore Kaitlyn Frank was credited with the assist on the corner kick attempt.

* Junior goalkeeper Kayla Kulp kept the game tied heading into halftime after she stopped a shot by the Gators' Alex Busick in the 38th minute.  It marked her first and only save in the game as Notre Dame managed just seven shots overall and three on-goal.

* The scored remained 1-1 for majority of the second half.  With less than 10 minutes to play in the game, Acri connected on her second goal on the day to give the Gators a 2-1 lead.

* In the 89th minute, Abington nearly tied the game, but an on-goal shot by junior Nayeska Ravelo was stopped by goalkeeper Leah Hasberry.
