How It Happened

* Abington wasted zero time lighting up the scoreboard.  Freshman Jada Rawls-Irizarry connected on her second goal of the season in just the second minute of action.  Rawls-Irizarry received a cross pass from the right side from Frank and fired a shot from about 18-yards out for the score.

* Midway through the half the Nittany Lions doubled its lead when Frank scored the first of her two goals on the day.  Senior Sara Hogan found Frank inside the box as she posted the assist on the play to give Abington a 2-0 lead in the 21st minute.

* Abington tripled up the Gators in the 33rd minute with a 3-0 advantage on an own goal.  On a throw-in by Hogan, a Gators' defender headed the ball up and was then pushed out by the goalkeeper.  The ball then was kicked backwards towards the net by another Notre Dame defender and found its way into the net for the Abington goal.

* Notre Dame spoiled the shutout bid in the 60th minute when Alex Busick scored her first of two goals in the half.  Busick scored again in the 82nd minute to account for both Gators' goals.

* In the 78th minute, Frank came through with an insurance goal and her second score of the game.  Rawls-Irizarry floated a pass from midfield finding Frank in stride as she beat the defender for a wide open shot to make the score 4-1 at the time.
