How It Happened

* Berks scored early in the game to take a 1-0 advantage in the 10th minute of action. Stephanie Morales' initial shot was stopped by senior goalkeeper Kayla Kulp.  However, Morales was able to corral the rebounded ball and get off another shot for the score.

* Later in the half, Berks doubled its lead when Zoe Macknicki floated a cross pass to Danica Aaronson who finished with her first goal of the season.  Aaronson's goal gave Berks a 2-0 lead in the 25th minute.

* With just over five minutes remaining in the first half, Abington took advantage of a turnover in its offensive zone inside the box.  A failed clear by a Berks defender, turned into a goal for junior Kaitlyn Frank.  Frank controlled the ball and fired a shot into the back of the net to make it a 2-1 game in the 40th minute.

* Berks held the Abington offense to just two shots in the second half with both off-target.  Berks went on to score an insurance goal in the 80th minute.  Maci Laster scored her sixth goal of the season off a corner kick attempt.  Devon Deery was credited with the assist.

Inside the Box Score

* Frank has now scored in back-to-back games and has three goals on the year.  With her first half goal, Frank moved into eighth place in the program's all-time points list with 42.  Frank also totaled seven shots; one shy of her career-high.

* Kulp totaled three saves in the game and now has 95 saves in her Abington career.  She's five shy of becoming the eighth player in program history to reach the 100 save milestone.
