How It Happened

* Stevenson wasted little time scoring the game's first goal as the Mustangs grabbed a 1-0 lead in just the ninth minute of action.  Madison Simard connected on her first goal of the season with Courtney Keehner assisting on the play.

* The Mustangs' offense kept the Abington defense on its toes after firing 12 shots in the first half.  Junior goalkeeper Sam Ridler made five of her nine saves in the opening half. Stevenson finished the game with 27 total shots.

* Stevenson doubled its lead early in the second half after Keehner had her hand in on another score.  This time she assisted Nyla Behram with her second goal of the season in the 57th minute.

Inside the Box Score

* Senior Kaitlyn Frank and freshman Jada Rawls-Irizarry each had two shots, including one on-target for the Nittany Lions.  Sophomore Kat Scanlon also had a shot in the game.
